It was naptime… and I knew it was naptime… and he knew it was naptime. The best way to know if it is naptime is to say, “Okay (insert child’s name here), it’s time for a nap.” If you are met with intense “NO NO NO NO NO” or tears or a falling out on the floor episode, you know that naptime has arrived (and you are actually probably late…).
That very thing happened to us, only it was made SO much better. Atticus, through his overtired tears, grabbed his Cat in the Hat hat and said, “Ax need hat. Sweep hat.” (Know that “sweep” is “sleep.”)
